The Project
For the Belgian Road Safety Institute, ActiveMe has developed a virtual reality application in order to raise awareness among the drivers to the road dangers.
The application is paired with a very realistic driving simulator for a complete immersion. From a touch screen, the monitors select some typical critical events like children crossing the road behind a bus, sudden break in traffic, parked car door opening,…and the driving conditions. In real time, they can add new critical events on the way of the driver and see the progression on a virtual map.
At the end of the experience, the driver receives a report with the analyse of its mistakes and the amount of the fine
